WELCOME!
We were strangers too.
Now we're a movement.
ABOUT US
Boston Indivisible is a community of activists who welcome all Boston-area residents, connecting them with opportunities to stand up and positively affect the state of U.S. democracy in whatever nonviolent ways are right for them. We bring people together to find community and feel hope, because we believe that working in unity is the only defense against authoritarianism.
Boston Indivisible has a single, nonpartisan purpose: moving our nation toward a healthier, more inclusive, and more representative democracy.
Where Creativity Meets Courage
ART FOR THE RESISTANCE
Community members gathered for a four-hour sign-making workshop to prepare custom artwork for the upcoming "No Kings" rally. Led by Boston Indivisible and Mass 50501, participants used a projector, jigsaws, and acrylic paints to turn lightweight construction foam panels into unique, sculptural protest signs to take home.
KINDNESS ROCKS
On May 23, 2026, community members gathered at Liberty Mall on Boston Common for a "Kindness Rocks" event to paint simple stones with supportive images and messages. The gathering turned the art project into a powerful way to spread messages of hope and remind neighbors that they belong to a caring community.
‘ICE’ TEA PARTY
On the 252nd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, hundreds of protesters marched from Downtown Crossing to the waterfront to dump ice into the harbor. The creative demonstration, organized by Boston Indivisible and partner advocacy groups, served as a peaceful act of resistance against the harsh immigration enforcement policies of the Trump administration.
