OUR STORY

Boston Indivisible began in December 2024, when a small group of residents—many meeting for the first time—came together with a shared purpose: to defend democracy and protect the hard-won gains so many had fought for. Through Zoom calls, in-person meetings, and support from Indivisible National, urgency became action and strangers became the community we call Boston Indivisible.

Since then, we have grown from neighborhood meetings of about 30 people into an organization of more than 1,000 members. Some rally in the streets, some lead, and others contribute in quieter but essential ways. Each person brings something powerful to the work, and as a group, we are taking action to help turn the tide.

At our core, we believe democracy is strongest when people stand together and refuse to sit on the sidelines, and we work to inspire new people grow this powerful community. Don’t be afraid; be organized.
